The weight loss has slowed down, but its still progressing. I have burnt myself out on salad, I have to force myself to chew.....Can someone please give a better range of vegetable net carbs?
234.0 lb Lost so far: 0 lb.    Still to go: 54.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

There are lots of veggies you can eat, green beans, broddoli, cauliflower, brussel sprouts, greens, spinach, squash, etc. However you will still need to include some green leafy veggies. Are you adding other things to your slald, like cucumber, celery, radish, onions? It doesn't need to be plain lettuce, and those other salad veggies count toward your daily total also.

If you are tired of chewing the veggies. Have some of them cooked instead of raw salad.

I have been addeing cucumbers,olives and occasioally tomatoes. but its getting boring!

I do the big peppers, Anaheim, banana, those types with different meats. I also make the riced cauliflower pizza crust (cook cauliflower, mush out all the water, lay it flat on a cookie sheet, bake until crisp) then build a meat lovers pizza on it. Spinach goes with chicken, beef, pork; different things you can do with them in a baking dish with spinach and cheeses maybe some bacon in there too. Avocados rock! Eat those! Check out other Atkineer's cookbooks for some recipes. ~ tig

And of course, green beans, califlower, brocoli, squash, cabbage, brussel sprouts, spaghetti squash. Experiment, and see what you like!!

What dressing are you using? I LOVE T Marzetti's Asiago Peppercorn Dressing just one carb per serving! I use mixed greens with parmesean, hulled sunflower seeds and feta cheese. I change up the protein..tuna, chicken, pork or beef. I have found that changing up the salad dressings HELPED ME BIG TIME

i'm a hard core bleu cheese fan. and i'm weird - i eat my salad with no silverware. Dressing on the side, i pick a piece, dip it in the dressing and munch. Not really a salad... I eat romaine lettuce, cucumbers, sweet peppers and raw broccoli. my favorite way to eat veggies is green beans (fresh or frozen) or summer squash stir fried in olive oil seasoned with some sort of GrillMate seasoning. That's me, always entertaining my office lunch mates :)
