The weight is down again. Partly, I think, because I had another gallbladder attack. I know what the offending food was. I've been eating green beans seasoned with salt pork. And not just a little bit. Nope. I made a pig of myself. I was eating so much and so often that I omitted my onions in favor of a little onion powder and switched to a fatty ham joint instead of the salt pork. I figured the joint was a not quite so much fat. Silly me. I spent a day bringing back up the fat.
Anytime I've had a scan of my gallbladder, they can't find anything. I think if I could get in while I'm actually doing the vomiting, they might be able to see something, but I'm too sick to get in the car and go anywhere. Bottom line is, unless it becomes acute, they'll put me on a bland, low fat diet. So, I'll try to keep it bland and as low in fat as I can without giving up atkins.

your symptoms and experience with getting help sound just like my daughter-in-laws experience. She finally got sick enough that they took her gallbladder out. She's been fine ever since. I hope you get help soon.

I'm sorry you're in pain! I think out of all six kids and both parents, I'm the only one still with a gall bladder. Take care of yourself. Hope the pain subsides.

Pain is better this evening. As attacks go, this one wasn't as bad as some I've had. I got some supplements from my chiropractor that he says will help. I'll mention it to my MD when I go in on the 9th, but you know what will happen...the inevitable ultra sound that won't show anything. I'd rather see if this stuff from the chiropractor helps and watching what I eat.
