With the exception of a few diet hiccups, I'm strolling along. I decided to lower the fat in my diet. I'm realizing that I'm adding too much margarine and vegenaise to my food. I'm following Dr. Shintani's book "Eat More, Weigh Less" which lists foods that give you more bulk on less calories which is primarily fruits, vegetables, and whole grains. It's a handy book if you want to be able to eat a lot without gaining weight.
139.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 19.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I just joined the vegetarian group right now and I see that you are a part of it. Thanks for sharing about your book "Eat more.." I will check it out sometime. www.drmcdougall.com is similar in philosophy. No dairy, meat, etc. Good Luck to you...Later...mary
