Are you still maintaining control or slipping, kid?

Doing good but yes, somehow gaining. Excited to remeasure on 6/1. Lots of compliments today from people I haven't seen in a couple months. Always a boost. Thanks for asking.

Compliments are great, but the self-esteem (the drive that comes from within YOU) will be reinforced by a positive swing on the measurements! The emotional rush from others is great, but what drives me to keep going is seeing the progress for myself!

I love seeing people's progress and I get really excited when all my friends are doing well! If you start slipping, I am (as well as others) here to motivate you and get you back on the rails! Long-term, baby! ๐Ÿ˜

Probably just fluid. The body is crazy. Itโ€™s so small youโ€™re probably about to drop 1-2 pounds ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ˜Š

I feel like every time you go up a tiny bit you drop like 1.6 pounds after.

My guess is that the recent drops have been consistent and pretty large so you're just evening out and will have another drop soon. Weight loss is rarely linear. Water can fill fat cells masking fat loss and even cause a gain temporarily.

Thanks, dear. It's fine. I just wish I knew why one day I am retaining no water and the next my ankles are fat and gross. I don't feel like I am doing anything differently but it definitely holds the number on the scale or increases it.

Sodium, sleep habits, and carbs are the usual suspects... a couple days later, they dissipate and your body will normalize.

Have you ever read an article titled, "Why the Scale Lies"? You can GOOGLE it. I think. I found it helpful in the past.
