Everybody wants to blame the scale. turns out it actually was our scale. I've been sticking to the way of eating and still the scale has either not been moving or adding a couple tenths of a pound here and there. yesterday was the last straw when it reported that I gained 7 lbs overnight. It got replaced with a highly recommend one and now my weight seems to be on track.

@liv001 You know it! It was driving me crazy. My wife lost 2 lbs, I gained 7 lbs after an overnight fast. I know I'm out of shape, but my "Dunlap" belly was no more. (It dun' lapped over my belt for a little while). My wife was pointing out that was losing belly, but the scale just wasn't moving for me. I'll say that I'm not thrilled with the new scale's ideal weight for my height being under 200 - the last time I got into the 210's I was 17 had gotten out of the hospital after a car accident, and a two week unintentional fast (throwing up everything from the morphine). I got home and looked like a skeleton with flesh draped on it. That's still more than 10 lbs over what the chart says is "ideal". Not sure where they get these numbers from.

I was nodding all along reading your comment. My ideal weight is supposedly 125 but even at 170 (not now but years ago) you could see my rib cage.
