I went well over my recommended daily calories today. Who would think that tomato basil soup was so caloric? On the bright side, I've increased the fiber, and today approached 25 grams, which is what we should all be eating. I'm also drinking more water, and will try to reach this challenge's goal of 64 oz.

I'm psyched. This time I will power through the roadblocks that have kept me from losing those pounds keeping me from my ideal weight.
130.2 lb Lost so far: 8.8 lb.    Still to go: 7.2 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Amen, sister! You go, girl! You've GOT this! The 64 oz. really IS a challenge, and I find that it helps a lot to finish half of it before lunch. BRAVO on the Fiber! That one is the one that gives the most people problems! You're off to a great start! How much would you like to lose during the Swimsuit Slimdown? I'm shooting for 15-20 pounds, but you don't have NEARLY as much to start with as I do!

10 more pounds would make me deliriously happy, but 5 or 7 would be pretty darn good. The last time I was even 5 pounds lighter was in the late 1990's. My blood pressure has been inching upward, and I'm hoping my new life style will whip it back into shape. I'll up my water intake in the morning. It's actually better to do it that way, so that you don't stay up all night getting rid of it!

EXACTLY! I'd say let's shoot for Door #1: "Deliriously Happy!" Then, if we don't quite make it, we still hit 5-7 pounds! We can get those last 3-5 in the next challenge if we don't get them all in this one!
