I think I'm finally getting some motivation to lose this extra weight. I think part of it is that my baby does not nurse constanly anymore. I used to spend most of my day with him nursing or sleeping on me. He learned to crawl about a month a go and has been much more idependant. I also have a strapless bridesmaid dress I have to wear in a little over a month. It's just a little too snug and I would love for it to fit better.
183.0 lb Lost so far: 8.0 lb.    Still to go: 23.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 2.3 lb a week

Welcome back to journalling! I see you've been weighing in over the past few months and you've managed to lose some more. Great job! It's very hard to focus on anything else when you have a baby. Good luck with your new goal to fit better in your bridesmaid dress.

Welcome back! I think you've done a great job, even with not worrying about losing anything. That's why this is a journey - the side trips are sometimes the most fun and interesting part of a road trip, but after a while, we are all ready to finally get to our destination. Good luck!

I'll chime in with the welcome back! Those first few months are hard when you feel like you constantly have a child attached to your breast!! My only advice is..PLAN YOUR MEALS and have stuff ACCESSIBLE! Make sure that even if you're too exhausted from being up with the little one to really cook, there's easy healthy stuff around to nosh as an alternative to junk. Also remember that walking with the baby in the stroller is exercise! Even better is a baby carrier...you're adding weight training in the mix. Just squeeze in a little activity whenever you can. My rugrat is 15 months, and I still make his morning naptime my workout/yoga time, even if dishes need done, or laundry, or whatever else. You can do this, just know that you are worth it!
