Yeah! Only .5 down this week but given where I was Tuesday morning I am happy to have lost anything. Some of weight on Tuesday was water from all the salt but - I spent some energy keeping my sugar and carbs down which I believe helped. So my challenge this week is to average less than 25 grams of sugar and 100 grams of carbs with protein equal or higher. Just curious if this will help beyond counting calories and following 16/8 fasting.
233.0 lb Lost so far: 14.0 lb.    Still to go: 68.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

At the end of the road what truly makes or breaks weight loss is calories

I agree ultimately total number of calories in versus what you burn is how one should measure ability to lose weight - however I am a borderline diabetic so controlling my sugar and carbohydrate intake ensures my body is functioning correctly- if all I did was control carbohydrates and sugar but ate 3000 calories I would gain weight but if I eat 2,000 calories a day and control sugar and carbohydrates my body will function properly and burn 500 calories more a day than I intake.
