I'm really struggling with getting enough water in. I've heard about the hydrocoach water bottle which reminds you to drink water more frequently. Sounds ridiculous to me that a water bottle needs to coach me, but if this is what I need I'm willing to try it. I also need to start getting more exercise. I have back pain, so I will have to start slow at first. I know once I lose weight the back pain should improve.

When I weighed in today and recorded my weight on FS, it told me it would take 14 months to reach my goal at my present rate of weight loss. That sounds great! I know weight loss is always faster the heavier you are and slows down the closer you get to your goal, but I still felt encouraged. As I get more weight off, I will also increase my activity level because I'll feel better and it will be easier to move.
342.4 lb Lost so far: 12.6 lb.    Still to go: 202.4 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I set alarms on my cell phone to remind me of drinking water. It works. I have it beeping every hour, and I am not "coached" into the habit. When I hear the alarm, I feel weird NOT drinking water. Maybe something as simple as a kitchen timer will do? Simply put it for 60 minutes and when it beeps you go drink and reset the timer?

If you are not doing it now you can start to cut out all soda pops and only drink water. Thats wht I did. But I know the water bottle thing sound stupid but it also is a cool way to remind you.

First Thank you for letting me be your buddy! I too need more water in my diet to help feel full and get rehydrated too. I just wish I didn't need to drink 3 mugs of coffee a day! If I do not do this I can not stay alert because of the medication the doctor has me on for my degenerative disk disease that is attacking my spinal colume! However; I could still add in the 5 more servings of just water! :) I like the idea of a reminder on a waterbottle, cool is what I think!
