jprunty's Journal, 22 March 2008

I'm going to past the 150's if it kills me. My body really likes the 152, 153's. Going to try and change some things up this week. I know I need to stop eating nuts but they are such an easy snack. But going to get there one of these days. Weather is wonderful today. Going to walk all the kids plus one extra for a couple of miles. Wear them out and be out side instead of watching the stinkin tv. lol

The plateaus DO END eventually. My last one lasted 2 1/2 weeks. for a couple of days try no the nuts, or even cutting your usual amount in half, sometimes that will jump start the weight loss. I also had to stop the Atkins bars and I do miss the chocolate.....

The only good thing about a plateau is getting past it. The bad thing is, they cling to us like velcro! You've got the right idea to change things up a bit. It doesn't have to be drastic. I am sure the new challenge will help you see the 140's sooner, too! GO TRAILBLAZERS GO!

I notice I do better when I leave the nuts alone! LOL They sure are habit forming! I know we are only suppose to have one serving a day of nuts, but they are so hard to resist. I told hubby that as soon as my supply is gone, they are banished from the house (again!) Im sure just a few simple changes will get you moving downward again.
