June 9 Weighed myself several times on both scales. I have lost aboutsix lbs since I started at 194 on the weekend to 188.6 this morning. The water and so on in a full gut is an illusionary weight loss, but I think I really did lose about a pound and a half. Sticking to high protein and lots of veggies, low fat and low carb, and more time standing up working and walking.

I started to take a bite of protein bar then spit it out, rinsed out my mouth but in the short time I had it in my mouth my blood sugar at waking was 145. I am not sure if it's only that a liver that's stored sugar will keep on supplying it at night time for a while, or if the body can take in sugar that fast, probably two minutes of it being in my mouth and a bit that liquified in my saliva, etc.
188.6 lb Lost so far: 9.4 lb.    Still to go: 46.6 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
