I'm on day 4 of phase 1... it's not so bad but now I know why I like phase 2 so much better... I just like the freedom it gives versus the restrictiveness of this phase. My sister in law comes to town on Thursday so I can effectively make it on phase 1 for 10 days total, but I don't know that I'll do the full 14. I've been on South Beach for 6 months now and I just wanted to kick-start things again so I'm confident that 10 days will suffice cuz I plan on having a few glasses of wine while she's here. Gotta get through finals this week so I don't have to do them while she's here. A week or so later my mom gets in town and the next day is my surgery... gosh I'm getting a little nervous about that. My pre-op appointment is on the 24th so I have even more questions to ask now! I'm still excited though, but getting nervous. I need to get some more homework done early so I can turn my homework in while I'm basically incapaciated. My husband is doing alright over there... we made it past 100 days and found out he might get extended to a year which really freaking sucks... he already went from 6 months to 10, but whatever... I'll just pray it's not the case. He seems really stressed lately... all of these little things are setting him off and it's really weird for me to stand by and see/take it, I don't like him like that... but then again I don't know what he's going through so I'll deal. Other than all that, I got nothin' else. I'm moving along with the diet as planned... after the surgery I might do the master cleanse again, but I'm not sure yet... we'll see. Hope everyone is doing well!

What kind of stamina does Master Cleanse take? Do you get irritable on it? Are you EVERY hungry? Does it make you sick? I assume youve done it before..what were the benefits from before? Thanks for any answers to my on and on questions.. Im only curious..but I dont think I have the personality to stick through it..

Oh, I hope you huby doesn't get extended again. that sucks for you..you need you hubby to hurry up and get home! Good luck with your surgery and recovery, I am sure all will go smoothly, and I bety it will help with your self confidence! i wish I could get a boob job sometimes, when I lose weight, that is one area I become less happy ewith the more I lose.

I've never heard of the Master Cleanse- what does it entail? I will google it also. But I'd like to hear how it helped you! THANK YOU & THANK YOUR HUSBAND!!! With men & women committing themselves to serving our country we continue to be able to have our freedom's. I am VERY pro-military. My son served 9 years & was in Afghanistan, Iraq & Kosovo. I can feel the type of pain of loneliness. My sister's son was killed in Iraq (4th day of the war) it has gotten better in both of those countries. Another close friends husband was deployed to Iraq. He is safe & sound at home. THANK YOU BOTH!

Thank you pretty face, I'll make sure to let him know. With so many people against the war, it's hard to find people pro-military so I appreciate that and I know he does too. I'm very proud of my husband for what he does... it's just hard to be separated from him so much. He's already been to Iraq, now Afghanistan. Anyways I'll email you and Shannon on the master cleanse. Thanks again!

I am also thinking about going back to Phase 1 for seven days. I know how your feeling, my cousin is still in Iraq. He's been extended twice. God Bless you and your husband!
