Woohoo! I successfully completed a 30-hour fast this week and it helped so much to re-boot my metabolism! I am back to eating 2000+ calories for the week while I continue to recharge my metabolism and get it healed after 2+ years of calorie restriction. Ah, the lessons we learn!

I am learning so much about my physiology. It is making it so much easier to justify my recent dietary choices and lifestyle choices. I think I am finally making the right choice for me.

That's awesome! I had same thing happen. Years and years of low calorie diets. Now my metabolism is damaged, but I'm regaining health by eating 2000 calories (or thereabouts) and lots of fat, around 85% of my calories are from fat (like Coconut Manna, ghee, avocado, etc). It works!

Hi, I fasted on water for 21 days a few years ago. The main thing is not to increase oxidative stress until you've had a chance to up your vitamins to counter this. Well done!

Is fasting a way to get over a lack of loss for several days? I am afraid that it might make my body more efficient. You seem to really have found what you need. Way to go.
