I'm making conscious decisions to challenge myself and step it up.

I decided maybe I've slowed down on the cardio machines and am not challenging myself so today I did intervals of very high resistance a minute at a time - definitely got my heart pumping! I want to keep doing that.

I also am having a lot easier time keeping my carbs down because I didn't meal prep spaghetti squash for my meal prep the next two weeks, I did cauliflower rice which is so much lower carb.

I've also added Kirkland Psyllium Fiber sugar free orange to my regular regimen which is adding 6 carbs a day (the non soluble fiber portion I have to count) but it's making me go to the bathroom more so it's worth it (tmi I know lol)!
I might have to look in to a lower carb one after this but I have two big containers, 180 servings each lol.

non food related - I'm going to church tonight. I grew up very religious, my dad was a Pentecostal preacher, but stopped going to church when I was 24 (I'm 34). I don't like all the hype at Pentecostal services but will enjoy hearing some positive messages that encourage the good in me to grow. This whole weight loss journey involves our mind as well and I want to start nurturing that part of me as well - loving and taking care of all of me so my mind and body can be in harmony and heal.

Oh, and the scale is mocking me lol....even closer today to being under 240 lol...I'll be so happy when I'm a good few pounds under 240 so it's nice and far behind me! It'll happen soon. I've decided that I have to keep logging my food every day because it does help me get the best results. I think my maintenance calories might be a lot lower than the sites estimate that it is because I do sit all day at work. The gym does not make up for being sedentary all day long every day.

And in regards to my vacation in October - I do have the hostel reserved for two weeks but I've decided I might try to find an all inclusive resort out of the country instead...see what I can find...that way I can finally use my passport for the first time, have a private room, still be safe, and maybe find one that has activities I can join in at because the rental car and activities in Hawaii seem to be adding up in price and I don't do well with stress of finding parking etc. Wishing I didn't get so motion sick so a cruise was an option!!!

Has anybody with super sensitive motion sickness ever had success on a cruise? I get motion sick when I'm driving MYSELF in the car sometimes hahaha

Hope everyone is having a great day! :)

Talk to your doctor - I used to get prescriptions for TransDerm Scop patches, which release Scopolamine. I used to scuba dive off small boats, and using this stuff, could even eat breakfast w/o worrying about sea sickness.

I used the patches gz9gjg mentioned on our last cruise. They work great. I had no problem at all. I am very sensitive too!
