I am so excited.. got on the scale today and i'm finally under 190.. i am so happy.. Thank God i made more of an effort to find things that i like so i can continue on atkins.. the only thing that kinda scares me is the fact that almost every site i go on to to find information. alot of people dont believe that its really that healthy and the fact that most people who stop doing it even for a lil bit.. they gain weight back and some more. and i've experienced that, so thats one of the things that i worry about..
188.8 lb Lost so far: 2.2 lb.    Still to go: 18.8 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.1 lb a week

Alot of people don't believe Atkin's is healthy - including my *previous* doctor. After I lost 40# and felt great, I had moved to a new city and had to get a new DR. She was mortified I had been on Atkins and made me have lots of blood and urine tests. She was equally mortified to call me a week later and tell me my cholesterol was great and my kidney function was fine. That's when I decided to change doctors. If you google the name of a recipe and add "low carb" chances are someone has one. I use this alot.
