You should probably ask Atkins dieters! I'm not following any particular diet. But I can't consume all the fat required by keto.  

That's a good point. 

Depends on the philosophy of the author, if they are all about high fat or if they or moderate. I the do whole foods or refined etc. Atkins is usually lower fat than most keto, and they will probably have more food options. Just a few things to consider. 

If you gift Maria Emmerich's amazing cookbook, it has nutrition and type tallies at the top/side of each recipe, indicating whether it's dairy free or vegetarian orwhatever folk might need to know, at a glance.  

The Atkins induction is ketogenic, so the two are pretty interchangeable. Many keto people recommend the Atkins diet book as a good starter to keto.
