well, my weight went up a little from yesterday but is still a half lb lower than it was at the previous weigh in, which is good. it looks like i'm losing on the allergy diet, but its really still too early to tell. it might not be the allergy elimination anyway. or maybe it is. anyway, I am a tiny bit sad about being without my allergy-suspected foods. especially soy, which is pretty much my favorite food. but not too sad. but because I'm missing those foods, and because my diet in general has been very regimented and analyzed lately, and because I was looking at this new cheat-to-lose diet, and it reminded me of the book the slow down diet, i've been thinking about how to get more foods I enjoy into my diet. i'm thinking about making some quinoa cookies later. last time I tried to follow the slow down diet i went overboard with the dietary pleasure and gained weight. there must be a happy medium at which i can still lose. skinny people get to eat things they enjoy after all. when i was skinny, i ate whatever i damn well pleased. now i just want to eat fun things every once in a while. :) i plan to meditate on it.
