Lotus's Journal, 07 January 2008

I kind of feel like a zombie right now, I didn't ever take a nap today after getting only 3 hours of sleep.
I actually got a lot done today, cleaned the house, (mostly, I didn't clean the bathroom or mop though, I can do that tommorrow) cleaned out my car, paid 8 bills, went to the dollar store for medicine and makeup, :) and walked two miles at the track. Only halkf of what I normally do, but I just felt drained. I'm glad I did it though, getting out of the house and getting fresh air made me feel so much better! Gaining weight had a lot to do with me being sort of down the last week or so, but so did not having a vehicle for two weeks, and it was too cold to walk for a while, so I was feeling TRAPPED in the house. I literally went nowhere besides Walmart once a week the past two weeks, and I didn't even go to church last week because Kaelyn was feeling bad. Not that I have a social life other than talking to Brandon's grandparents and the people at church, but getting out of house today did really make me feel a lot better. It's good to have a reason to get out of your pajamas. :)

Yes siree! I think it's important to have no more than one or two days per week that you just get up, and get out! The fresh air alone is good for you and it's just good to get out and have a different surrounding. You can literally drive yourself crazy with staying home too much, trust me..... I know! lol ;) I know how it is with sick lil ones... it's not easy, but you'll make it!

I'm with Bully here...we all need to get out of the house...for our own sanity and fresh air...it's a good thing to just see people and make small talk with people in the stores. I'm all for a positive attitude has positive results...if my attitude is cr*p my day is cr*p...with babes being sick kinda gets Mom's 'down'...all the tending to and making it better...when your little one is all better you take a bit of time and go walk by yourself or sit and have some tea at the local coffee shop...You're doing a great job! You keep swinging and that's what it's all about! Smiles to ya, buddie!
