wow, avocados have a lot of calories! I guess I knew that but I am still surprised. I will have to remember that next time I eat one. I saved half for tomorrow.

I'm really happy with the way I've been eating. This site is helping me a lot- both to avoid overeating and to avoid undereating, two dangers I'm very susceptible to. It's also helping me to balance my diet appropriately. So this is wonderful, but... earlier I couldn't get my internet access to work, and I was freaking out. I'm not sure exactly what to do without fatsecret and that is kind of worrisome. I've done the whole paper journal thing and I associate that with trauma (and more recently with a certain person I'm not happy with). Its also more work, and without the fun of the internet. Well, I'll figure it out. Normal people eat and survive without constant internet access. :) But today I missed the staff meeting at this pizza place where everyone apparently ate this extremely huge, extremely filling pizza. I don't know what I would have done if I hadn't messed up. I'm a little obsessed with calories now. And its in a much healthier way than with previous diet journaling, but still... I need to relax. I'm secretly glad that I stayed home and ate veggie juice, broccoli and fish while everyone else was eating all that pizza, but at the same time, I'd like to know I can handle myself when I eat away from home. I guess I haven't eaten an entire meal away from home since I stared this thing.

what do I do when I go to other people's houses and they offer me food that looks unhealthy? and/or I haven't the remotest clue how many calories I am eating? what do others do?
