went on vacation.. ate like crap. now paying for it. feeling a little discouraged with the huge weight gain. i have got to get this under control. i am not even at my half way mark yet. everyone please pray that i find the strength to say no. the hubby is really good to me.. but, the problem is that he buys my goodies to say i love you... i woke up to doughnuts and chocolate milk. of course i gave into temptation. he is a good guy and likes me the way that i am... he doesn't seem to understand why i am doing all of this... i am not going to blame him. i know that i am an adult and it is ultimately my choice. i just need to find it within myself to have self control.
263.0 lb Lost so far: 7.0 lb.    Still to go: 93.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

it is dangerous to equate food to love, and natural for mother's or grandmother's to show their love by food, especially when they grew up in lean times. he is just doing the same. weight loss aside, this is not healthy behavior period. thankfully his heart is in the right place, so perhaps sitting him down and explaining what this means to you? maybe suggest an omelette rather than donuts? I am not a shrink, but question to consider, is he worried you are doing this to attract someone else?

Your resolve had not left you (neither have we) - you are stronger than you appear for this day. Lovingly communicate to him that food is no longer your "love language" and that he needs to speak it through other means.

Thank you for the advice! I think he is understanding now... he even went to the gym with me today!
