I have been a customer of Amazon for years. They are always my first port of call for buying online. I have Prime Membership and normally get the goods next day. Just over a week ago I cancelled my auto renewal for Prime (it was too easy to shop!).
I then had a parcel fail to deliver on two days on the trot. DPD said no one was in and each time a card was left. Both my wife and I were at home, our lounge is just behind the front door, and there were no cards left.
Yesterday I was expecting a parcel and it was not delivered (Amazon Logistics was the carrier). It was not delivered today either, nor was a second parcel they were supposedly delivering. I contacted Amazon and they said they had tried to deliver but couldn't. They confirmed the parcels have the correct address.
It is as if Amazon have a vendetta against me since I cancelled my Prime membership.

That's not good. I know this is a silly remark, but something similar once happened to my mum: her doorbell stopped working properly.

How strange. Surely Amazon wouldn't be that devious?

Amazon have a curl in the middle of their foreheads: when they are bad they are very VERY bad. You have my sympathies Jocko, I fear it isn't pure paranoia. I'd call them and read the riot act, you may have some success. My second Kindle in a few years has just died and the guy on the other end of the line couldn't have been more bored. Too big for their boots! Good luck.

The door bell works great. I've just had a parcel delivered, but not the one I am desperate for. I'll wait until late this evening and if it doesn't arrive by then I'll get back onto them. I may even get the girl I was talking to last night!

My partner bought a DPD franchise.. but over the last year, they have changed all their delivery structure.. they now have residential and business on the same van.. which meant on his round the drops were impossible to do! He then went for an interview with Amazon logistics, who have massively expanded as they have taken a lot of the smaller packages away from DPD. Those guys need to do up to 150 drops per day. In our area, even tho I have Amazon prime, they now sometimes come early/ late or not at all. if they're not PRIME deliveries, they won't have a delivery time, so may be left on the van !!
