There is light at the end of the tunnel and I am a happy girl.

First, I will say that my eating habits were beyond bad this weekend. We ate out at least once every day, I drank (hey it was St. Patty's Day!) and got NOOOO exercise. Back on track as of today though and feeling good about the week.

Aside from the bad eating, it was just an exciting weekend. Friday night I finally got the chance to talk to my finace about what has been bothering me. Of course everything was worked out in 2 seconds, as I expected. Then within minutes of getting that squared away, his sister called and he took off outside to talk to her.... Grrrr didn't we just talk about this??? But when he came back inside he immediately said "guess what? I've been laid off as of next Friday". Well for most people this would be a bad thing. I had to refrain from doing cartwheels and screaming. Long story short, we knew this was coming. The time frame for his grandparents closing the company was mid May.

Due to family drama (none of which my honey is actually involved in or responsible for), and lack of work, they decided to close down effective this coming Friday. This means that my fiance will be with me full time! I am beyond excited. I have been waiting 3 years for this. Plus, he is a great "housewife" and will be an amazing help to me around the house. It still seems surreal right now, kinda like I am dreaming.

Then Saturday we had the best time. Before going out we were dancing around the house, singing and having a great time. Then a good time out at our neighborhood dive bar. We always run into so many people we know.

Then Sunday we visited another possible wedding venue. I didn't like this one as much as the first one. They don't include much and I want to have to do as little as possible. The first one is still very high on the list.

All in all, a great weekend. And I feel so much better about life. I have found a new level of motivation!
