i have been eating crap for three days now. i am kinda in a funk. i am not sure when i am going to feel motivated again. i know that sounds so silly. in my head i am like, stephanie, what are you doing, you know that is not good for you?! and then another part of me is like, i am taking a break! lol

not proud to admit I've had a lousy 2 days myself. Cheat foods are among me and cheat I have. I see for myself lack of adequate meal prep. and emotionally stressed eating. its not worth it. it not. but I won't let it throw me off a month a of doing well since I feel the results of better eating with more energy and other very positive outcomes. I look at it as a kid riding a bike, nobody would tell a kid to stop trying to ride or that falling sometimes happens. it happens and it can happen less and less.

Sometimes this is our best attempt at self care. Personally, I have more success breaking out of a crapathon by adding things that feel good and meet needs (sleep, get hair cut, long bath, whatever works for you) rather than trying to subtract the junk. Thanks for expressing the "I am taking a break" aspect because I am due for a break, and it takes planning to get one (from work and mental effort of feeding oneself) while still eating well.

Thanks y'all! I am definitely going to try a fast. I am now starting to feel yucky every time I eat junk. I never felt like that before I started to take care of myself. Kind of a helping factor though!
