Monday, 7/18/17 Steps= 12,414

I knew this was coming, but it's still hard to accept. I weighed in a day early this week and have had another gain. So in the last 2 weeks I have gained 1.3 pounds. I have been 100% dedicated to both my eating and fitness plan, but the doctor has started adjusting two medications that affect my thyroid. Until everything is stable again, I'm going to have a hard time losing weight. It's really disappointing because I had almost reached my initial goal and then had hoped to lose 10 more pounds.

I weighed in a day early because tonight I was going to have the first nice dinner out since January 1st, where I didn't count calories. Seeing these gains has kind of ruined the fun of this dinner. Pretty bummed:(

I feel your disappointment. However, you know that if you just stay the course, the weight loss will come back. It's discouraging not to have the positive reinforcement each week though. Don't give up or give in! Plus its just water gain so try not to be upset.

CC, thanks for your comment and support. I enjoyed a wonderful 'cheat' dinner last night but am back on track today. I know it might be at least a few weeks before I see progress, but it seems logical that if I maintain a calorie deficit with diet and exercise every day, sooner or later the weight will start to come off again. As much as I hate it, I know it's best to get my meds properly regulated. Hope things are good with you!
