Toni Bourlon's Journal, 10 July 2017

Well I managed to NOT gain over the weekend, always a good thing especially considering how stressed my life has been lately. Spent all day Friday with the grandkid in the hospital, and overnight Saturday. Didn't get much sleep, eating was on the go, and she is cranky and so ready to go home! Hopefully tomorrow, fingers crossed. DH is losing between 1 - 2 lbs a day, and close to 40 lbs since he started the pre-surgical diet a month ago. He goes for the 2 week post-surgery checkup Thursday, and should be able to start eating solid foods again. I'm interested to know if he can swim and/or kayak yet, hopefully soon. He should slow down to a few lbs a week, which would still be awesome. I'd like to see him lose another 40 lbs before the holidays, and hopefully we'll be in our new house by then. I started doing ab work, and plan to get back into weight training this week, plus want to build up my speed on the treadmill. My Saturday run was cut short, grrr! Will make up for that this week for sure.
