Well, after a week on vacation, I'm home. I ate well - lots of seafood and veggies, packed a picnic lunch every day and cooked breakfast of eggs every morning. I let in a few healthy carbs, but no sugar, baked goods, fried foods or alcohol, I gained 7 lbs. I'm shocked; I thought I was doing pretty well (but without a food scale or a body weight scale). I know it's probably that glycogen recharge, but wow! Just from a few strawberries, carrots and polenta (and Okay, a little Halo Top -twice) So today, I'm back to strict keto. Discouraging.

Erika, that is a shock for you! I expect you'll be surprised how quick it goes though now you're back and on your normal WOE. Try not to be discouraged.

It should drop off again pretty quickly - and hopefully take some more with it. Sometimes it's just a change in routine that throws the body a loop

Ouch! Sorry to hear about the bump up, especially since you were being 'good'. You'll take it off again soon enough, I'm sure.

I stand in agreement with the other ladies...it will drop quickly now that you are home, drinking your home water and fixing your food. The weight gain hurts as we all can attest but it will disappear quicker than you realize.

Don't give up. You must be ultra sensitive to carbs. I am too. Hang in there.
