Yesterday was a good day. Surgery went better than expected. Both masses came out in one piece. The surgeon had intended to take out three lymph nodes and test them, but was so sure after examining two lymph nodes, that the cancer had not spread, and that she had gotten it all, that she called it a day. She said, "This is your final answer, we got it all!" Of course, we still have to wait on the pathology report, but the surgeon has done enough of these that she was 100% confident that this will be the end of it. My wife still has to go through the 5 weeks of radiation therapy as a precautionary measure, but we are confident that she will be healed. Soon, I will get back on my routine, and on track with my dieting. Right now, we have people bringing in food (good food too) and I'm lucky to get a run in now and then. But, things will settle down soon. Thanks to everyone for your prayers; we both believe in the power of prayer. We believe that God gives us doctors, but He provides the healing!
