The Girl's Weekend was great fun. I had planned what I was having for breakfast and stuck to it. I got in some walking time in the mornings and afternoons - not counting the shopping walking. Outside of the lodging, I paid for the majority of my purchases in cash. Which was a freeing feeling. I had two large purchases, both of which are going for Xmas gifts. (even though I bought the majority for "me" gifts).

One of the girl's LOVES ice cream, so much that we had it everyday for 4 days. I allowed myself to have what I wanted -- 1 scoop in a cake cone (smallest cone possible). Friday I had Peppermint ice cream. Saturday I had Chocolate Salt Caramel ice cream. Sunday I had Peanut Butter Fudge ice cream. Monday I had an ice cream sandwich (it was purchased before I could select). Plus ice cream and pie on Saturday and Sunday nights. It is safe to say I've eaten more ice cream in the past 4 days than I have in the past 6 months. I really enjoyed it.

I kept track of everything I put in my mouth.

So why was I surprised that I actually LOST WEIGHT to the tune of .04lbs -- and yes, I am totally counting that!!!

Looking forward to continuing the Labyrinth challenge another 12 weeks, with a few tweaks.

Been a little stressed - seems that anytime I am out of the office for work or vacation, it seems to take a little while to get your brain caught back up and in the groove. Thank goodness for exercise! It's pilates tonight.

I've always gotten the kiddie cup size of ice cream or gelato and skipped a meal to make up for it, and never had a problem with a little treat here and there in the summer. Balance.
