In the app on a phone you go to your food diary to add the food and hit the icon for the camera at the bottom of the screen, then tell it the food. You may then share or not as to your preferences. It helps if you tell people what it is at least since only users of the full PC app can click on the picture of the food and see the post of what food was added with the picture.
