Been boosting up my exercise recently, especially my walking. I usually walk a couple miles a day. Walked 5 today, it was hard and and my toe started hurting but I made it. Not too bad for an old cat like me. All the best to you all.

LOL - Old Cat...I like it. I am 62 years old - use the rowing machine hard, elliptical and weight lift - you can do it, Buddy!

In my youth people would say " Bunch of Cool Cat's" referring to my friends & I. Wear our collar's up, sideburn's, ducktail, pegged pants, somewhat like the Fonz in Happy Day's. Now I refer to myself as an old cat, but still kickin'. Walked only 3 miles yesterday. Rode stationary bike today because of the hard rain. Lifted some dumbbell's as well. Have an old friend over who has gained quite a bit of weight since moving to assisted living home. Feel sorry for him, but we've laughed a lot & listened to some Old time Rock n' Roll. My wife & I danced some, he said we were great. Said he wished he had the energy. I gave him a couple books on low carb, told him to move as much as he could & never give up. Said he'd try. Hope he does.

I've lent out some of my best diet books. I hope they're doing some good out there and not just gathering dust. maybe your friend will be inspired to regain his health. Let's hope so.
