Here is my phase 1, day 1 (FS day 1, Sunday, 3rd June):
06:30 am - 1/2 cup plain oatmeal (made with water, no salt) 10:30 am - 3 cups salad with one tomato wedge (no dressing) 03:30 pm - 25 grapes and 1 plain puffed brown rice cake (salt free) 07:00 pm - 1 small sweet potato with cinnamon and 25 cherries 09:30 pm - frozen banana
I feel really good about being on this diet and about getting my life under control. It was easy to find the time to eat today, but I think that was just because it was the weekend and I really did not have anything else to do. This upcoming week will be the real test to see if I can keep up the eating schedule. Waking up at 6 am and going to bed at 1 am leaves a lot of time for temptation and straying, but I'm sure I will be able to overcome that. My biggest accomplishment for the day was that I had no fast food. My body was not happy, and I got a horrible headache at the end of the day, which prompted me to eat the frozen banana, but that is to be expected I suppose. I am looking forward to cooking up a few rice dishes I found on the internet that fit in the Phase 1 model, so tomorrow's foods will have a little more sustenance. Thank you all for your kind words. They are very motivating and will keep me focused, and will be something for me to read when I get a craving.
