Still feeling the momentum.

Last night I got out my Instant Pot pressure cooker and made chicken breasts. They were so delicious and so easy! I am still learning to cook with it and looking up recipes in cookbooks and online but I have to say the convenience, combined with the healthy meals sure makes this a great way to cook.

Has anyone else been using the Instant Pot? What are your favorite recipes?

Another ice storm here so it looks doubtful as to whether or not I will get to the gym to walk. I will opt for some stretching here safely locked away in my house.

Instant Pot is just a pressure cooker, right? We have one and have used it once in four years. I may have to search for some recipes!

Looooooove my Instant Pot! Try cooking brown rice (if you eat that) in it! I've never had better rice before. 15 minutes high pressure with 1 cup rice to 1 cup water.

LostSun- yes it is just a pressure cooker. From what I am reading, it is a really healthy way to cook as it locks in vitamins and nutrients instead of boiling or frying them away. I might put a forum post in on this and see what others say. But get yours out and use it! Really delicious stuff!

Yes, We have an Instant Pot... im not sure if a Pressure Cooker (Standard) has the same versatility as the instant pot. We loved ours so much, for BD gifts both of Our daughters got one and My Sister received one for Christmas this year. My husband uses it a lot... he does not have food intolerances. He's made stews, rice, beans, lentils. Our daughters have each made some outstanding meals in a fraction of the Normal oven time. In all cases, with working household... the instant pot is a Healthy and Quick way to eat great meals Every night of the week! Enjoy the versatility!
