Chris1979's Journal, 10 January 2010

Today won't be a very long journal. I have to go get my textbooks for the upcoming semester which starts tomorrow, and go to Sam's club so I can buy in bulk healthy snack foods to have on hand since I won't have much free time. I'm trying to plan ahead so that I can keep up the healthy eating! :)

Last night was definitely a "cheat" night. I had steak, wine, brownie, and cheesecake! I'm going to try Info's strategy and eat very lightly today; lots of veggies and other low-cal foods to make up for it so it balances out.

THREE THINGS I'M GRATEFUL FOR TODAY:
1) My friend Steve offering us free Flyers (ice hockey team here) tickets
2) My hometown football team is in the AFC playoffs today at 1 PM (Baltimore Ravens)
3) Sleeping in on a Sunday morning!

I hope everyone has a relaxing Sunday!

Sounds like you have a busy day ahead. I think Info's strategy is good. I have done that when I know I have had a high day and it does seem to balance out. I am cooking today too so I will for once be ready for the week and not just eat on the fly. Enjoy your day.

I need to hit up Sam's Club too! And yes, planning ahead makes all the difference. I screw up when I don't plan.
