I totally agree Phil and others here! Doesn't it get to you!!? I do wonder if the "addictive personality" thing is real. Recently I stopped drinking alcohol for that reason. The same seems to go for carbs, cakes, donuts etc. Just awful. Drives me crazy. I don't think I can have that food in the house. It CALLS to me!

omgoodness! Miss Ladyin...you have just quoted me for last few days, in that I've actually said that all I want (not being particulary hungry, either) is to eat a whole loaf of deli or home-made bread at this point! I've been so very careful and have eaten my one slice and/or pasta during breakfast and lunch...I do so WANT hot bread with butter. What does that make me? :) and :(

However---bottom line is that I have not done it! Thanks for listening. You just struck a note of comradery in your comments. Bravely on, we determined soldiers, what?!

I used up my almond flour, and having a loaf of paleo bread in the house would have probably saved me. Who knows? Hubby still eats bread and since he is the ONLY one who usually eats it, it's always on the stale side when I capitulate and dig into it.

If you eat it you'll just want more and more. Carbs feed carb cravings.

Ladyindenim that is so funny about the stale bread! There is bread in my house for my husband and kids. The other day it was so stale, I actually cut the bits of mould off two slices and made a sandwich! Isn't that funny. Bad. :(

I used to make beer bread all the time, hot out of the oven with melted butter and strawberry jam, a cup of coffee or glass of milk and you were only about a mile short of heaven. I love carbs, addicted, one drop is enough to go on a psycho feeding frenzy.
