DairyKing's Journal, 29 November 2011

Up bright and early at 4:00, fed the critters and off to the treadmill. Expected the 30 minute run to be pretty grueling, since I haven't done it for 5 days, but surprisingly, it was quite pleasant. Ran with the Heartrate monitor to see if it was killing me; it wasn't. Think I'm going to have to step up my game.
Whatever I gained over the holiday is gone, but I know my overindulgence delayed my breaking through the plateau as scheduled. A small setback, but one I can live with. Life goes on. The weight didn't come on overnight, and it isn't going to depart overnight. I am in this for the long haul.

It's lonely at the top; but you eat better.

I hope to never take 5 days off from my exercise ever again. I thought I was gonna die when I resumed, stamina was completely gone just that fast. Whew, glad to be getting back on track now. Your progress is very impressive. Unlike me, you are steady declining and I am back and forth like a zigzag. Working on it though:)

Thanks for keeping me giggling (jogging on the inside, right?)! I, too, am battling a minor cold, but I'm winning so far. Liquids and rest, lather rinse repeat. Glad to see the treadmill didn't win--kick it's butt!

That is an early start. Too early for me. I was still dreaming at that time. Great outlook on the journey. We have to take it one day at a time and move past the overindulging.
