Skinny, I still don't understand how it works. Apart from running around like mad at work and using my kettlebell at home, I have not done any exercise recently. Diet hasn't changed either but weight is coming off slowly. Is your BF coming down? It seems to take ages and it happens at it's own pace whatever that is.

Hi LaraStar, it is coming down very, very, very, very, very, very slowly - still at 41.? (the ? Varies from day to day). Occasionally it is 40 something. If I measure of athletes mode, (which is supposed to be for people who exercise 10+ hours a day, or have exercised all their life - I only exercise about 6-7 hours a week) it is 30 ish%. I think realistically, I am probably not 41%, but fall in-between the two measurements - but it does give me a gauge of how I am doing. Interestingly, my youngest daughter - who regularly goes swimming and to the gym - is a size 10 (UK sizing), has a reading of 27/28% and I would say she is more like 20% or lower. I have also done the measurements on line and they vary from 18% to 45%, depending on which site you go on!! I think you can only use it as a gauge, to see your progress. I would love to have a Dexa scan, or the water weighing thing, just so I could see what it really is.

Yeah it's very confusing. Sometimes I watch programs where people lose weight and in the beginning their BF is 40ish but they are absolutely enormous. It makes me wonder how accurate these home measurements are. Yours is probably at least 10% less and if you had it measured properly you'd be in or near normal range.
