Work is very stressful the past three days. I am having problems with irritability and insomnia. I wake at 3:30 a.m. and can't get back to sleep. I emailed my physician and asked if I should increase particular supplements on stressful days.

Anyway, I have the next five days off, so should be able to decompress a bit.

Had a nice, long conversation with my older daughter last evening. It reminded me of the phone calls I used to have with my mom. We would just talk and talk. So nice.

Decided to break fast. Am not refeeding with carbs, though.

Ate almost 2000 kcal. Yuck. Then I took a hot bath and fell asleep in the tub. Haven't done that in ages. Last time I took a bath, my hips smooshed against the sides of the tub, forming a dam behind me. I had to be cautious of making waves whenever I changed positions.

Now, I can sit in there and the water flows all around me.

My physician emailed me back. Said to increase my B6, P5P, Zinc, and Magnesium when under stress. She said to try Hops and Ashwagandha to help me sleep.
225.6 lb Lost so far: 7.4 lb.    Still to go: 90.6 lb.    Diet followed 100%.

Nice loss considering the stress/cortisol conditions! It's nice that you can have good talks with your kids.

How do I change frm own diet to LCHF? When I joined I tried all permutations but never found LCHF listed as a diet on the site!

Go to Diets, search Member Diets. Kosovokelly started it back in 2010. I don't do keto strips or count grams of anything, but this is the closest description we have on fs of the LCHF WOE.

Very nice drop! I'm sorry about the insomnia, I get that way sometimes and it's no fun. The 5 days off will probably help a lot so enjoy them. It is good when you can talk to your kids that way. My son's a realtor and spends a lot of his day in the car so I get may calls (Bluetooth, thankfully) and we talk about almost everything. I love that.

Enjoy your days off and I hope the insomnia trouble go away. Lack of sleep makes anyone irritable. My daughter and I talk everyday and I get what you are saying! Take care!
