Taking a break from weight loss, but not from lifting.
So I lost 22 lbs. and as a result I lost a bit of strength, expected, but always a low blow to the mental. I plan on shooting for maintenance, or even a small gain (not to exceed 5-6 lbs.).
Numbers look like this:
@196 lbs Squat 1RM: 295 Bench 1RM: 230 Deadlift 1RM: 405 Total: 930 lbs.
@174 lbs Squat 1RM: 275 Bench 1RM: 205 Deadlift 1RM: 365 Total: 845 lbs.
I'm going to get my numbers back up before shooting for the final goal of 165 lbs. bodyweight before winter.
Goals for next spring:
-Squat 1RM: 335 -Bench 1RM: 255 -Deadlift 1RM: 455 -Total: 1045 lbs. -170-175 lbs. body weight.
The goal is to always be stronger and lighter, at least until I am lean, then the goal will shift to always being stronger and heavier while maintaining low body fat.
