Let's face it: I was very naughty Tuesday (day after Halloween), and yesterday rather naughty as well, though I think I would have been fine on the final totals, except that there was my husband's delicious home-made apple pie to finish. I think that if I had had the guts to record it properly, it would not have been as horrendous as I fear, but definitely not the direction I wish to go. I have to keep this going; I've worked too hard on this to quit now. Worse, I didn't go walking yesterday, either. But I went today, and I'm going to keep this up.
Hoping we will go out tomorrow night, at least for a bite, to celebrate our anniversary this month (while the young person is attending a sleepover. I still have a couple of dresses to fit into, including the super new one I intend to buy to wear to my husband's work Xmas party. The last couple of years, it has been kind of horrible to choose between scrounging in my closet for something not too shabby and not too ill-fitting to go in, or having to shop for things in sizes that depressed me. I'm really looking forward to shopping for clothes, for a change. But I guess a difference of 50 lbs. or so will do that for you....
