Good morning!!!

Sunday and I believe day 7 of my Leptin Reset attempt.

Weight this morning was 205 lbs EVEN!!! I am only .8 lbs above my last weigh-in here on fatsecret.

A long time buddy of mine recently suggested logging in my weights so I could see the drop. I may do that. I have resisted because I was trying to only record new lows but it might be good to see my "UP AND DOWN" craziness of the last couple of months.

This morning's breakfast was Eggs Benedict (minus the english muffin)!!! Oh my it was delicious. Many more calories in the hollandaise sauce than I expected (don't know why I expected less given the amount of butter used!!) but it will be fine. My body doesn't seem to mind the extra "fat" calories at all. And I am so enjoying my food.

My hubby is looking at houses for sale in Ecuador. Apparently Ecuador is a wonderful place to retire to very inexpensively. Hard to concentrate on this entry ... many comments, moans, and groans coming from the hubby!!

Today's plan is laundry and hopefully finding out if son got his car taken care of. Stef ... thank your husband for his input about boys not really maturing until between 30-35. I'm not sure I'll live through it!! LOL!!! Hubby is going to change the oil on the generator. And we're going to do some work on our new joint business venture.

Later tonight we'll watch a couple of episodes of The Mentalist. I am thinking of a roast for dinner. Either that or BBQ steak. I haven't decided yet!!! Most likely will steam broccoli or cabbage to go with whatever meat I decide upon. Will likely make an early dinner. Do you know I got by with only 2 meals yesterday??? WAY!!! Looks like I might be able to pull that off today too. It helps if you get up later. Not so easy during the work week. Too long between meals. But that's okay ... it seems to be working.

My mother and I are commiserating together about my son. gotta love him. want to strangle him. She tells me snow is in the forecast for us this coming week. I think I'll ignore it for now.

I'm curious from my fellow buddies who are using coconut oil and doing the low carb approach. Have some of you had some interesting bathroom experiences? I think squiggly told me to read about a lysing effect or something like that with the coconut oil and suggested starting at a tsp and working up to a tbsp. I've been doing that. I'm feeling pretty good ... but pardon for my over sharing but I've had some "emergency" ... gotta go right now ... sort of experiences this past week. Just wondering if they might be related. Feel free to PM me rather than post a comment if that is more comfortable.

I like myself!!! I love my body!! I am kind to myself. I take care of myself. I listen closely to my body's cues and feed it what it needs to shed excess fat and pounds easily. I am an expert in my field. People pay me for my expertise. I am a successful business woman and entrepreneur. I manage our finances well. I am organized and efficient. I plan well and follow through with my plans. Our wood shed is full. Our dental needs are met. We have money saved for a vacation in February 2012. I am patient. I am positive. I am determined.

Today I am grateful for ...

1. dreaming of retiring in Ecuador
2. having a fun "goof off" day with my hubby yesterday which including eating out TWICE and still sticking with my plan!!!
3. long time fatsecret buddies
4. plenty of coffee
5. feeling pretty good

Have a wonderful Sunday. I need to work on the budget and get our laundry going. Waiting for hubby to finish changing the oil in the generator before I can start. Also need to check the lottery tickets and see we are bazillionaires!!! Hey. It COULD happen!! LOL!!! If so, I'll be writing this journal from someplace overseas!!!

Take care of yourselves and I'll do the same.

Coconut oil and bathroom emergency can totally be related, at least for me they are. I notice the same thing with almond butter and other nuts, I guess this kind of fat goes "faster" through the intestines! I only use coconut oil to cook, except for my zucchini recipe which tastes better with olive oil, but you seem to put it in your coffee, wow you're hardcore lol! I couldn't eat it like this! When you buy that house in Equador, can I visit? Please? I've been dreaming of going to Galapagos Islands, I could stop by on my way there! Have a great Sunday and congratulations on the new loss, this plan seems to work perfectly so far!

I am so thrilled for you! Your hard work is paying off. Yay! I have a 25 yr old stepson and he drives us batty. Wonder if taking a probiotic will help with the digetive tract? Perhaps you don't have enough good bacteria? I take a pill I get from Target-there brand. One a day and it helps me a lot! All the antibiotics I took resulted in similar experiences as yours.

Thanks Dens ... appreciate it!!! Yes Anne ... you can definitely visit when we live in Ecuador!! It is incredibly inexpensive to live there!!! Must be the coconut oil I guess. At least I'm staying clean as a whistle!! LOL!!!

Sounds like you had a wonderful week-end. Sorry your son didn't come to see you - kids, whatchagonna do, eh? Hope you have a fab day and glad you are enjoying the low carb experiment. I haven't tried coconut oil, but if you are having those 'issues' I might try some because I have the opposite problem - lol!
