Day 6 of Leptin Reset

Weight steady at 206 this morning. Not bad considering I ate a WHOLE chicken last night!! LOL!!! Too funny!!! BAWK! BAWK!!! Might sprout feathers!!

We are off in a few to have breakfast out and run a few errands.

It rained hard last night. Fortunately it was warm enough that we did not see the white stuff here. Whew!!!

Mini goal is to get through the weekend maintaining the protocol for the leptin reset.

Son not coming to see us. He is BROKE and his car isn't working. Yes I sent him gas money. Oh well. I hope he didn't fritter it away but then I have no control over that.

I continue to practice kindness, patience, self care ... and learning how to see myself as successful.

Hair turned out GREAT!!! The colors she put in were wonderful. She took off several inches. My hair had grown more than 3 inches in 3 months!!! I like it!! No pictures though ... well not today anyway. I still look pretty much the same!! LOL!!!

Quick entry as we are trying to get out of here to breakfast.

Love to all of you!!! Be kind to yourselves and no doubt I'll be back later!!!

Take care!!

Carol, I have eaten a whole chicken for dinner before also...and it is funny. I am quite sure that you can get through the weekend. Go to the store and get a "pickin' chicken" (rotissieried one), and if you feel peckish, pick at it! Sorry that your son won't get to make the trip. Have a great day, Carol, and when you feel like it, pics please, you beautiful, awesome, gorgeous 50 something woman! Hugs!

Thanks Stef. I'm not concerned that I ate a whole chicken. It was probably more than I needed as I was very full but I was hungry, it tasted good, and it was protein. It was one of those "pickin' chickens" as you mentioned. Long week at work. Didn't feel like cooking and it was delicious!!! We just got home from goofing off today. Ate both meals out today. I had a spanish omelette and 4 slices of bacon for breakfast and then had something called a "lockout" burger (without the bun of course) which was two patties with bacon and cheese about 3 this afternoon ... YUM!!!! When we got home our son had left us a voicemail. Get this. His car broke down on THURSDAY. Just now he is looking to get it towed to his house. He called to see if he could use our AAA. He lives almost 3 hours from us. You can only use AAA if you are there with the car. We could have driven down there today easily but we aren't heading out now!!! Good grief. He is almost 30 years old ... why didn't he call us ... yesterday? earlier today? ARGH!!!! Last comment and for most of you this doesn't apply so just ignore it. When I post something about what I ate I am not looking for "constructive criticism." If I am looking for input, suggestions about what I have consumed, ideas I will ask. I appreciate other's "helpfulness" but unless you are an ongoing buddy of mine and you have built a relationship with me I would ask that you not offer that sort of unsolicted advice. I may be overly sensitive but it comes across as criticism.

Carol, I am just now getting to dinner...I am having chicken and a burger!!! lol We always eat late, but we don't go to bed until between 12 and 1, so I am not worried about it. I have had 4 scrambled eggs, 1/8 cup cheese, a bratwurst, a burger, some chicken, 2 deviled eggs, and veggies and salad...I was hungry also! lol As for your last comment, every once in a while someone will do the same to me, and I just ignore them. They haven't been following my journey and have no idea where I am or how I got here! And like you, if I want input I will ask for it! Most of the time, I am simply venting and recording things for me. Have a wonderful rest of your weekend, my sweet friend!

Oh and as for your son....he is almost 30...hubby says that men don't fully mature until they are between 30 and 35. So he's close! lol
