angelica_95's Journal, 20 June 2016

Ok, so Today is June 20. Lets try this again shall we? I completely went off the rails for the last 2 months, and so now I am pulling myself back together again, and today is day 1 of trying a mix of 5:2 and low carb diet - with one cheat day/meal a week. I have put on alot of weight and had a wake up call when an XL garment didn't fit me.
My cousins wedding is in 11 months time - and its a goal to be under 80 kgs before that time. I am sitting on about 93 kgs at the moment. Not happy Jan.
I have taken up UBER driving. It helps to avoid food on my days off from flying otherwise I would have been just sitting at home bored (which inevitably leads to eating junk).
Today is a fast day. I have had a 34 calorie coffee this morning and I will investigate some other foods (like boiled eggs) or cup of soup that will keep me happy and are under a daily total of 500 calories.

Again, no judgement here. I am not the best with will power but I have a goal. I would like to be around 90 kgs before the end of this month.

Hope everyone is doing well.

:)

Good on you for having another crack at it! it's hard to keep getting back on the horse. The 5:2 idea seems to have a good evidence base to support it. I haven't been able to pull my calories in that hard, but it has a strong track record for those who can manage it.

Thankyou Hammertone. I had a good day, managed to keep my calories under 500 and I actually feel ok. I think the key is not to start eating too early in the morning so I slept until about 10.30 am, and had coffee an hour after that. I kept busy and the day flew by and I didn't miss my food. By the time it was dinner I did feel hungry, but now, I think the soup really helped. I hope you are doing well too!
