OH, must be nice indeed! My sister used to raise chickens (for eggs) and said that while they were wonderful they didn't work well for hard-boiled eggs. Stale or older eggs were better for that purpose.

I make my boiled eggs in a steamer. They are perfect whether fresh or store bought.

I get fresh eggs from a friend and they are great. The yolks are so orange. She won't take money so I give her the empty cartons and buy her egg maker chicken food. umm good!
