ok, so i cheated....yep i did....it was a beautiful crisp new england day and i baked banana bread with my 4 yr old....and had 2 slices! but it was worth it. i also snuck in a mini cupcake or two this week...the funny thing is i felt soooo lousy afterwards! i had a stomach ache! totally not worth it, plus it kicked my carb cravings back up to high gear! :( so i am back on the "no cheat wagon". will weigh in tomorrow, but the scale showed my cheats....up to 151 this morning....my mom said she is waiting for me to gain the weight back...but i am not going to! i told her despite the cupcake/banana bread cheats i will never go back to eating carbs again....i just feel too yucky when i do. although, i did tell my hubby that thanksgiving and christmas are cheat days where anything goes....i make dinner and have everyone over to eat. i will make an atkins friendly cheesecake and chocolate cream pie...but the pumpkin pie is gonna be a huge cheat for me... :)
i am off the steriods, and my appetite shows it. glad to be off those aweful drugs, but the carb cravings are horrible right now. i have been bad about not eating breakfast, so i really need to make it a priority.

I hear you about the carb cravings and how lousy you feel after you've eaten those types of carbs. As long as you think it was worth it. I do it to, and I know it isn't worth it really - we gotta smarten up some, eh? I can't believe your mum said she was waiting for you to put the weight back on - way to be supportive - not. She might think that stuff but should have kept that to herself. Its not as easy as I first thought, living low carb, choosing to live without bread is the hardest but I feel so much better when I don't eat those types of carbs and it sounds like you feel the same. I have faith that you can do this, can maintain your weight loss and maybe even lose a bit more if you set your mind to it.
