hmmm I thought I wrote a journal entry this morning but it isn't here. It wasn't very long anyway. I think I am on day three of my own version of Dukan's plan. So far, so good. He recommends 1.5 tbsp of oat bran a day and I must tell you ... I have been frequenting the bathroom more often than typical.

And I'm not sure what was up with my body last night but I must have been up to the bathroom five times or more!! I have been sleeping so much better lately that it took me a little by surprise. Strange dreams and many visits to the bathroom. Finally gave up at 5 am which might explain why I am so tired and slightly cranky now.

Regardless ... it has been a good weekend. A productive weekend. We made three separate trips into town with the pick-up bed full of items from the garage that needed to be disposed of. We could actually park two cars in the garage now!!! YAY!!! One BIG box ... has been there for 2 years!!! My mom bought a stationary bike and that is as far as the box got. Then stuff got tossed into it. Well you get the picture. We worked hard all day Saturday and Sunday ... but we sure got a lot accomplished.

Grateful today for ...

1. A garage that could actually accommodate vehicles ... a real plus when it comes to winter.
2. The scale declining ... but not yet low enough to record here yet!!! I was 214 Friday morning ... 209.6 (I think) this morning. Not bad.
3. Being a carnivore ... oh my ... meat! meat! meat!
4. No "state" job tomorrow ... yet hubby is working which means I get a little time here on my own in the morning. I love him dearly but I so enjoy my "alone" time.
5. Slippers, sweatpants, sweatshirt, listening to hubby play music on YouTube ... does it get any better than this???

My journey continues. I am kind to myself. I believe in myself. I take care of myself. My body tells me what it needs and I listen and respond respectfully ... and my body loses the excess pounds. I sleep well. I am a successful business woman and entrepreneur. I make $100,000 a year. I manage our finances responsibly. I am organized and efficient. I plan well and carry through with my plans. Our wood shed is full. We have money saved for a Mexico vacation in February 2012. Our dental needs are met. I am an expert in my field. People pay me for my expertise. I am responsible. I like myself!! I love my body!!

I hope my buddies had good weekends. I know you are all out there ... taking one step at a time, journeying along ... take care!!

Yes ... I checked ... it is day three!! Silly sausage!!! I hope Dens is having a fabulous time in Paris!!

Carol, that is an awesome loss...if you were getting up to pee alot, that happens a to a lot of people when they start low carb dieting. Not sure why, but your body will eventually adjust. Hope you had a great day and that your tomorrow is awesome...you are beautiful!

Good news on the drop on the scale!! That has got to make you smile. I wish my garage was cleaned out. That is on the to do list that keep moving to the eternal "next week".I love my alone time too. Have a great day.
