I'm finally back to my pre pregnancy weight! It took me about 16 months. My husband bought me a Fitbit for my birthday so I've been trying to set everything up. It says I woke up 10 times last night! I'm still doing Zuzka Light's workouts but taking it easy. Since I'm not getting quality sleep, I don't follow the 6-7 day schedule. I only do the Strength & Kettlebell videos until I can get it together lol. I will have to write about my diet sometime. Maybe I should call it a lifestyle change though. Diet makes me think of following something temporary. I focus on not going over 120 carbs and I try to eat more proteins. Just worried about the whole damaging kidneys thing by not going overboard. I highly doubt that would happen but I need to consume more water.
105.0 lb Lost so far: 25.0 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

I think that whole "protein causes kidney damage" idea has been abandoned by the wayside. Protein is only a little hard on damaged kidneys. My husband was well into kidney failure and his kidney specialist said the jury was still out on whether he ought to reduce protein consumption or not.

Its not even the protein that's the problem. ITs the Uric Acid that causes a problem in damaged kidneys. Just use lemons, or some other alkalizing agent to get your PH up. I use baking soda(Sodium Bicarb) or Lemon juice. NOT at the same time. lol. I get ghouty at times. The Bicarb keeps it under control.
