I am a silly sausage who had chicken breakfast sausage and eggs for breakfast today!!

I have decided to give the low carb approach a try for 2 weeks. I have started today. I'm thinking I'll follow the Dukkan approach that Densible has had so much success with. We'll see how that goes.

I am very grateful it is Friday. It has been a LONG week.
I am very grateful I have made a decision.
I am very grateful for the opportunities life presents me with.
I am very grateful for looking forward to a short break in two weeks which will give me a night away from home with my very best friend in the entire world (and getting my annual ethics continuing education class off of my plate)!
I am very grateful for my wavering awareness that I am still on this journey and will be successful in getting my weight back in my "zone" even though I have not been "feeling it" as of late.

Weight is up and that is all I am going to say about that. I weighed so I would make sure I have a valid measure to use in terms of seeing if this approach is reasonable for me. I think 2 weeks should be a reasonable "trial" ... what do you think?

I hope to have more time to write this weekend. Right now I must get on with my day. Another busy one ahead with three families to see.

Take care. Me? Oh yes, continued practice in self kindness, self care, and believing in ME.

Baby steps are alway good. I have a friend doing the Dukan diet and she has liked it. I haven't gotten my mind into low carb mode, but trying!!! Have to stay away from the sea salt begal chips :) A friend of mine has gone on low carb becuase she developed diabetes. Here approach seems very reasonable. Message me your email address and I will forward to you the handout her doctor gave her. I am looking at trying something similar. Easy way to keep track of the carbs, etc.

Welcome to the world of low carb, Carol. Sure hope it works as well for you as it has for me. The biggest boon is the energy and sense of well being I have when I eat this way. Primal is also low carb, but more like the later stages of Atkins, so I am still basically following that, just at the later stages of ongoing weight loss. Have a wonderful weekend...are you off for Columbus Day on Monday? You are gorgeous! Hugs!

@jcbags I love the sea salt begal chips - yummy...lol I think a low carb trial for 2 weeks is a great idea - if you dont like it you will at the very least clean out your system.
