8 weeks after I started daily walks, increasing in distance and speed, I have arrived at the "Couch" phase of couch to 5k. I did not have the ability to walk a mile without my feet going numb my first day. My shins would cramp so bad, I considered calling hubby to come pick me up. I didn't realize how profoundly unfit I'd become.
Today, I walked a 2 mile warm up, then started a C25k podcast. Jogged 8 60-second intervals with 90 seconds between, and used the rest of the way home as a cooldown. It was tough, but I did it, and I am *proud* of me! I'll probably have to do "week 1" for several weeks before I can progress, but I've started. ;-D
