WOOT! NSV BABY!

Got up this morning and put my jeans on and they aren't as snug as the used to be!! Whoop Not time for a new pair YET.

Decided to try on a shirt that I've never worn because my "muffin top" and I just looked like a stuffed sausage in it. Not today! I look GOOD in it. It hangs right and doesn't emphasize any fatty areas. I'm so excited to be wearing this outfit. I feel great today.

Then my MIL asked me how much I've lost and I told her. She says, that is ALOT of weight. My hubby then brings over the equivalent weight and hands it to me. WOW!! It's amazing to think that I was carrying that on my body.

Today will be a good day :)

FANTASTIC! I am so excited for you. SO I wanted to tell you I followed one of your tips today and I felt great. I went to the coffee house with the girls and instead of my mocha frappuccino, I got a black coffee. The funny thing is I enjoyed hanging out with my friends, chat and catch up on all the gossip and I didn’t feel like I was deprived of anything. Swapping a calorie killer for a smarter choice is not as bad as I thought it was going to me and hopefully I will be where you are one day and the joy of looking good in my favorite clothes will be much SWEETER than the mocha frappuccino. :)

Yeah...that is a very good tip...don't drink your calories!! I used to get a medium mocha frappe from McDonald's quite frequently. Turns out they are 560 calories! Now I just get a medium iced coffee with sugar free vanilla which I enjoy just as much for a mere 90 calories! What a difference. I'm so happy for you that you are enjoying the weight loss success! When the results start showing, it makes you feel so much better and more motivated to keep going. Keep up the great work! :D

Thank you all for the congrats and encouragement. I'm so glad that I was helpful to you MerryWeather! I absolutely love good coffee so now I'm actually able to enjoy the flavor of the coffee instead of the sugar :D.

That is a good feeling. Congrats! I still can't drink black coffee and enjoy my morning latte, but I make it myself so I know exactly how many cals I'm getting. It's also a big part of my morning protein. tbaum, how does coffee with sugar free syrup have 90 cals? The only cals you should be getting in that case are from the milk or cream you're adding.

Thanks Gnat! I haven't been able to drink black coffee but I just use splenda and half and half and enjoy it knowing isn't only 30-40 calories.

Thanks rocky! We all have our items that we will compromise on and the items we won't. The fortunate part for me is I love all kinds of food so it isn't hard to me to stop using or eating something because i replace it with something else I love equally. My problem right now is controlling my snacking because there are more snacks in my house than usual.

If it helps I often will have a dozen hard boilled eggs in my fridge. an easy high protien snack ready to go! I also make my own little meat balls (extra lean ground beef - i cook them in the oven on a rack so all the fat drips off) I make 1 oz meat balls and keep them cooked in the freezer - in the micro for 40 seconds and they are ready! These may seem strange but they are effective!

I was thinking about doing hard boiled eggs. I often am a little hungry (or a lot hungry) after the gym and I'm left searching for something with protein in it. My only concern is that they would all be eaten by my little ones when they wouldn't really be eating anything because they like eggs. I might have to just do it and then see what happens.
