I dunno what's up this week.

I'm eating off plan and not exercising. It's very weird.

I think it's how tired I am. I have just been tired all week. I think I can sleep in tomorrow until about 7am, so hopefully the extra couple of hours will help.

Onwards... and tomorrow is FRIDAY! WOOHOO!

for me it is part and parcel of the seasons changing - it gets colder, and darker and we spend less time in the sun - that is all it takes for me!

I hadn't thought about that... I really like the fall, so I just assumed it would be a positive thing, but you're right, it just could be the drop in temperatures! I actually had to get out my fall jacket! CRAZY!

A break isn't a bad thing unless you feel guilty the whole time. My trainer advocates a week long break from both diet and exercise every 10 wks or so and this is common in the bodybuilding community. Not sure when you plan to get back on track, but if it's gonna be Monday, I say don't waste the next couple days hating yourself and enjoy the rest of your break. Either way, once you get back to your routine, you'll rock it out!

Listen to Kat, she is a smart cookie! I think every now and then we just need a break from it all. Take it easy and enjoy the break!

I ordinarily would totally agree, but I just got back from a week's vacation and have already been on break!! Any more "break" and I'm going to be gaining again! LOL

Ok girlie. I managed to go on vacation with you. Monday is my day. I'm going to enjoy the rest of my weekend, not worrying about journaling. I am, however, going to consciously get my water groove on. I need to get outta this funk. Personally, based on what I'm finding in my own experience, and after looking over your food journal the last couple of days, I think if you reign in some of your carbs, you will feel much better. Have you seen the Fat Head documentary that Pixi share with us? Google it and watch it. I mean, it seemed forever until he got to his point, but there were a lot of "ah ha" moments for me. It just makes sense with my PCOS too. I'm not trying to convert you, as this is my own beliefs considering my own experience and watching that documentary. I don't think I will ever be die hard 20 net carbs or less person, not that there is anything wrong with that, but I do believe that carbs cause cravings. So, start today, Sunday, or Monday with me, but lets get back on track and get this weight off of us!

Kendra, you're so funny... lol But I do agree that low carb is a good way to lose weight, but I find for me, it's not sustainable, so I fall off the wagon and then gain back the weight. I'm trying to stick with what I'm doing until it stops working, and then I'll switch it up. I'm thinking that there's no need to fix what isn't broken. Just limiting my calories for the day to a reasonable level is something I can see me doing for the rest of my life, where low carb would be a temporary change in healthy eating (for me).

I understand that. I guess I was thinking about me the last few months. Something is really triggering me and it usually starts when I get excessive "bad" carbs in. The switch is so easily changed and I get back into my old eating habits. So, I'm going to kind of test the waters and watch both.
